Practical Nursing School in Ohio

Helping to provide care for others is such a noble, fulfilling career, and some people strive to find a career that allows them to do just that. Practical Nursing School at the Ohio Business College is the perfect opportunity for you to hone your skills, open up your life to new career opportunities, and make you an important person in any healthcare setting as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

The Practical Nursing (PN) Program provided by the Ohio Business college is 44 weeks or four quarters in length. The program covers a combination of theory, nursing skills lab, simulation lab, and clinical experiences. Once you graduate from the PN program, you will be fully qualified to write to the NCLEX-PN® to become licensed as an LPN in the state of Ohio.

A multi-ethnic group of nursing students are attending class together. They are seated at a long table in a classroom. The individuals are working in pairs on a project. The two women seated closest to the camera are being assisted by their female professor who is showing them something on a digital tablet.

What Other Students Are Saying

Gina Terry, OBC Graduate

I was really nervous to go back to school. I was working two jobs to make ends meet and wasn't going anywhere without a degree. OBC was so flexible with my schedule and the staff took every opportunity to help me succeed. Because of their support, I was hired as a Clinical Lab Assistant at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. To this day, I continue to receive their support and encouragement as I strive towards my Master's Degree in Pathology Assisting. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of OBC.
