Training Programs Offered

Accounting & Business Management

This 24-month associate degree will provide you with the training and skills needed to excel in the fast-paced fields of business and accounting. This accounting concentration builds on the foundation provided in the Business Administration associate degree program to include progressive accounting skills in general, tax, and payroll accounting. According to data from the Occupational Information Network (O*NET), employment of accountants is projected to increase by 10 percent through the year 2026, relative to 2016*. Upon graduation, students with have developed the in-demand skills needed to perform business and accounting functions for managerial decision-making situations.

Business Administration Specialist

The Business Administration Specialist 12-month diploma program delivers students with a foundation in the essential business skills needed in any size business or organization. Our hands-on business administration courses equip students with real-world knowledge in Accounting, Business, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. Students will have the ability to enhance their computer office skills by taking courses in word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics presentation.

Office Administration (Associate Degree)

Our 24-month Office Administration degree program will help you to develop necessary technical skills while demonstrating exactly what it takes to operate in an office environment efficiently and effectively. Throughout your career training, the emphasis is on gaining expertise in software applications, as well as developing decision-making and interpersonal skills. Students not only become proficient in various types of software, but are also able to provide support in the use of these programs.

Medical Office Specialist

The Medical Office Specialist 12-month diploma program will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to successfully keep a medical facility functioning like a well-oiled machine. Our comprehensive curriculum includes instruction in the areas of medical billing and coding, electronic health records, medical terminology, human anatomy and much more! Employment of medical office specialists is projected to grow 23 percent through 2026, according to the Occupational Information Network (O*NET)*. Graduates from the Medical office specialist program at Ohio Business College are eligible to sit for National Certified Medical Insurance Billing & Coding Specialist (NCICS) and National Certified Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA) exams.
